PURPOSE | CORE BELIEFS | STATEMENT OF FAITH
Purpose.
New Hope exists to present every person complete in Christ.
We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ. For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me. Colossians 1:28-29
This message is brought to life in three ways.
1) Message: Presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ in clear and creative ways.
At New Hope we strive to present the unchanging message of Jesus Christ to an ever changeing world in clear, compelling & creative ways.
To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak; I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means save some. I do all things for the sake of the gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it. 1 Corinthians 9:22-23
2) Ministry: To the Lord in worship, to the body of Christ in service.
New Hope is a place to serve. In all things we serve the Lord with our lives, and with our lives we serve each other.
"But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." John 4:23-24
As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10
3) Mission: Reaching neighbors and nations for Christ.
The message of Jesus Christ is meant to be shared. At New Hope we strive to share this message locally and globally.
but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." Acts 1:8
